  • Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse 214 North Lexington Street Pittsburgh, PA, 15208 United States (map)

Pittsburgh Center for Creative Reuse is working together with Communitopia to offer a Pennsylvania Department of Education Act 48 professional development opportunity to Western Pennsylvania educators FREE of cost.

The Exploring Climate Change through Art Project gives teachers the opportunity to learn to use art as a vehicle to educate students on the solutions to climate change while repurposing discarded resources.

The in-person program includes two workshop sessions: Saturday, November 18, and Saturday, December 2, from 9 am. to 4:30 p.m. To receive Act 48 credit, teachers must attend both workshop sessions and complete / present a lesson plan assignment.

This program is for K-12, Western PA educators.
